| Superintendent Announces Retirement | ||
![]() Superintendent Eric Ridge has announced his retirement as of July 15, 2009. Eric Ridge came to our school community four years ago when he began his tenure as the BSD superintendent. He helped the school district modernize both facilities and practices while increasing student achievement. 2009 Commencement Speech by Eugene Mirman This year, as usual, many high schools asked famous alumni to give the commencement speech. This year, Eugene Mirman, comedian and author of The Will to Whatevs, spoke to the 2009 Lexington High School graduating class. What's unusual is Eugene's take on life after high school: “The main difference for you, between life yesterday and life tomorrow, is you can go to the bathroom whenever you want. It’s a pretty big responsibility, but you’ve earned it.” |
